Groups sessions will usually be on Saturday mornings and are currently planned for 29th May, 12th June, 3rd & 24th July, 7th & 28th August. Sessions being launched in May 2021 are as follows:
Anxiety group counselling sessions
Group counselling is an excellent way for people suffering from anxiety to deal with this disorder. By being around those with a similar condition, people are able to get the support they need and find comfort in the fact that they are not alone. Together as a group, they are able to help each other out and find new ways to deal with their problems.
Anxiety support group on zoom, starting Saturday 29th May from 10:30-11:30. Maximum of 4 patients aged 18+
LGBTIQ+ people support sessions
Some of us identify as LGBTIQ+. This means we may be lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex, non-binary, queer or questioning. Or we may define our gender and sexuality in other ways. It might feel hard to start talking about how you are feeling. But many people find that sharing their experiences can help them feel better. It may be that just having someone listen to you and show they care can help in itself.Making connections with people who have similar or shared experiences can be really helpful. This could be other people with mental health problems, or other LGBTIQ+ people, or both.
LGBT support group on Zoom, starting Saturday 29th May from 10:30-11:30. Maximum of 4 patients aged 18-30
