Guidance on travel
Details of the new traffic light system for travel restrictions have been announced by the Government.
We are aware that many of you may wish to see relatives oversees and are unsure of what you need to do in order to visit loved ones overseas or simply want to take a break. We have prepared comprehensive information for you regarding what you need to do in order to travel on our website.
This includes information about GUIDELINES REGARDING TESTING FOR DEPARTURE FROM UK OR ON ARRIVAL FROM GREEN, AMBER AND RED ZONED COUNTRIES as well as PCR test rules
We are very sorry but travellers do not qualify for free PCR swab tests on the NHS, free NHS tests are only for patients who have symptoms.
We have signposted in the website information you need in order to access private providers of these services online.
COVID-19 VACCINE CERTIFICATES
Guidance is expected soon regarding this system. Please note we are unable to offer you any form of official vaccination certificate at this time as we need to wait for an official system to be set in place by the government.
We do recommend that you register for Patient Access with the practice as soon as possible as it is already possible to view your vaccine status online on Patient Access.
The practice has already activated Patient Access to show your vaccine status but we are unsure if this will be a valid form of showing your vaccine status for the purposes of travel and await further guidance from the government.
If you are not already registered with Patient Access we recommend you do so by following the intructions below
Please send the email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a photo of yourself aswell as your ID so we can activate your account, we need to be able to clearly see your photo ID and name printed on it as well as your face. If you experience any difficulty please send us an email and one of the reception team will call to assist you.
