Update 14.4.2021 2021 Covid-19 VACCINATION PROGRAM

Posted on April 14th, 2021

Update 14.4.2021 2021 Covid-19 VACCINATION PROGRAM

We are pleased to report that today was the last day of our second dose Covid vaccine clinics at our nursing and residential homes in Ludlow and we have now completed all our priority one patients at Churchill, Four Rivers, Alexandra Hours, Four Rivers and Glenview Homes.

We would like to thank all the staff and residents in the homes for their support and trust in the vaccination program.

Given the risk of serious illness posed by the Covid-19 virus, especially to our older population, the second dose is strongly recommended and maximises the effectiveness of the vaccine both for you and your community.

CHURCH STRETTON SECOND DOSE CLINICS

Second Dose Clinics start tomorrow at Church Stretton organised by the Primary Care Network in the Southwest area for priority two patients (patients over 85 years of age) who booked their 1st dose appointment at the Mayfair in Church Stretton.

There will be appointments this week Thursday 15th-Sunday 18th April and also next week from Thursday 22nd -Sunday 25th April.

We are aware that some patients have had their appointment time and date changed compared with what was written on their vaccine card following their 1st appointment at Church Stretton and we apologise if this has caused any inconvenience.

Letters have gone out confirming the correct time and date of your appointment. If your appointment has not been confirmed either in writing or by a phone call from the practice, please don’t turn up to the vaccine hub at Church Stretton. Please wait first for us to contact you or if you are unsure send us an email to confirm your appointment.

Please only call us if your problem is urgent or if you have no possible other way of contacting the practice.

PORTCULLIS SURGERY APPOINTMENTS ON SATURDAY 17TH APRIL

On Saturday 17th April we will also be carrying out second Covid-19 Vaccines at the practice plus home visits for all our >80s patients. All appointments at Portcullis practice are at the time you were given originally and have not been changed.

A small number of patients appointments have been brought forward but if this has occurred, we have contacted all these patients and confirmed their appointment time. All home visits have also been confirmed by the practice as some are also being done earlier than planned previously.

IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT YOUR APPOINTMENT OR HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT THE COVID VACCINATION PROGRAM THEN PLEASE EMAIL US.

You can request what you need by using the form below. It takes less than a minute to compete and send. We will email or call you back with advice or an appointment time.
