All patients over the age of 64 who are not already booked elsewhere are now able to book their appts via 119 or via their website. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/
We are having mixed messages regarding 119 and their service regarding Covid Vaccination appointments for 60-63 years olds (Cohort 7). We have been informed that all patients over the age of 60 will be receiving their national letter invitations in the next week, some have already received them, others have not. Some have been able to book with or without a letter, others have not. We would advise all cohort 7 (patients 60-63) that if you have not had a letter yet to wait until Tuesday, if you have not had a letter by then you should be able to book anyway by phoning 111.
We are unable to book cohort 7 yet as the practice still has cohort 6 to book and these patients are not eligible to book via 119. So if you do get a letter please book if possible on the national system via 119 at the Racecourse as this will be your quickest route to get an appointment.
If you already have an appointment at the practice or at Church Stretton please keep this appointment as we have already allocated you a vaccination which cannot be wasted.
Please do not call the practice if possible unless you have an urgent medical problem
