Weekly Education Meetings for 13-19 yrs olds during Lockdown
Education offer for 13 year to 19 year olds.
THESE SESSIONS ARE NOW ENDED
We are delighted to announce that the Zoom education meetings on Thursdays will be weekly from 6.30-7.30pm during lockdown.
The weekly education sessions are for young people 13-19 years.
The sessions are for young people interested in a career in health related sciences such as Medicine, Nursing, Paramedic Science, Biomedical Sciences.
If you are interested in attending and are 13-19 years of age please send an email to lockdown.educ.portcullis@gmail.com and we will send you a zoom link.

Thursday 18th February
This Thursdays (18th) education session will be AT AN EARLIER TIME FROM 5-6PM
The topic this Thursday (18th) will be “working in A and E and Motorbikes” Speaker will be Dr Targett.
Thursday 11th February
This week the topic is your questions about Covid 19. The speaker will be Dr Beanland, senior partner at the Practice. Dr Beanland has an interest in Public Health and has a degree in Public Health and Health Promotion from Cardiff University.
Thursday 4th February
This week the topic by popular demand will be preparing for a medical university interview.
The guest speaker this week will be Rosie Oatham. Rosie is local to Ludlow and is currently in her 5th year in Keele Medical School. She has also worked with Portcullis Medical Practice during her summer holidays and volunteered during the pandemic with Pulling Together Ludlow. Thankyou Rosie for helping us once more.
