Urgent Appointments at the Practice
Consider if you need to call 999 or 111 for urgent advice. See the guidance below.
We have a limited number of appointments and emergency slots with practice nurses, advanced nurse practitioners as well as doctors available daily for those patients who wish to see a Doctor on the same day who feel that they may have an urgent medical problem.
If you think you need an urgent appointment because you feel very unwell and the problem has not got better with usual self-care treatments please contact the Surgery before 9:00am if possible.
Please be aware that you will be asked to give a brief description of the problem in order to help the receptionist guide you to the most appropriate person and that you may be asked to see the duty practice nurse or advanced nurse practitioner instead of a doctor.
