Hands Together Ludlow
Since taking on the old dance studio and chapel in Lower Galeford, Hands Together Ludlow have been working hard to turn the building into a new hub for volunteering and community support activities.
The Ludlow Men’s Shed has a new, permanent home in the building and the Community Fridge is also up and running.
Some things they do:
Recruit, train, and match volunteers with those in need:
Network with and support other charities and organisations including:
Deliver projects
Hands Together can only achieve all this with the help and support of the local community. During the Covid 19 lockdowns the help and support they received was magnificent. Since the restrictions lifted and many of their volunteers returned to their jobs, they have been working hard to develop their volunteering opportunities and the team. They have regular and occasional volunteer roles from a day a week to a couple of hours a month and would love to hear from you. You can fill out a (non-binding!) volunteer form here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/VolApp2022 and their Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch.
Their website is full of information and What’s On news but in the meantime, if you want to sign up for their newsletter please email admin@handstogetherludlow.org.uk; follow their Facebook page @handstogetherludlow or give the Helpline a ring: 01584 873062.
