If you have an ongoing problem and you have already seen a doctor or a nurse about this problem in the past then it is usually best to book with the same clinician. We value continuity in this practice.
You are free to consult ANY of the Doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners or Practice nurses in the Practice but we would encourage you to STAY during a particular illness with the same clinician if at all possible. However if you think your problem is urgent then it is not always possible for you to see a specific clinician as they may be booked in advance for a few days or may be on holiday, therefore if you think you need to see someone urgently please follow the link below:
Non-urgent or routine appointments can be made up to one month in advance.
This enables us to offer an appointment at a time more suitable for those patients that require them. We also have evening appointments 6.30-8pm with doctors and nurses on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the surgery and some Saturday morning appointments for your convenience please ask your receptionist for details.
Most appointments are usually for ten minutes however if you have many medical problems you want to talk about or you need a female medical examination, or a procedure done you should probably ask for a longer appointment. Please inform the Receptionist if you think you may need a longer appointment, let them know what your appointment is for, so that they can advise you when would be the best time for you to come and the length of appointment you require.
Please make a separate appointment for each member of your family you wish to be seen. This allows us to allocate time for each person without keeping our other patients waiting.
It would be appreciated if ‘non working’ patients could leave early morning and late appointments for people at work who have difficulty coming during normal working hours.
